Group Walks
For those who are comfortable around other dogs, are confident off- lead and have a good recall, then this is the group for you! Please note, we will only walk dogs off-lead when we have built up a good rapport with one another, regardless of if the ‘Off-lead’ consent form has been signed.
Whilst I am fully insured to walk up to six dogs at any one time, I much prefer to walk a maximum of 4-5, this way I can ensure that these adventures consist of a boat load of fun, are stimulating and each pup gets the attention & enrichment they deserve.
Group walks are available Monday – Friday, late morning & early afternoon.
The walk consists of 60 minutes, this does not include travel time (travel is in our own time which we do not charge for). More likely than not, your dog/s may be out of the house for a good few hours, this is so we are able to provide a full hours walk & travel time, as we like to mix our destinations up.

Solo Walks
For those who are a little shy, are reactive, recovering from an injury, or are getting on in their old age, we offer 1-1 walks.
These walks are subject to availability, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Home / Puppy Visits
Do you work long hours and don’t have the option or advantage to pop home? Home visits are the perfect alternative to give you that peace of mind that your puppy is in safe hands and is being taken care of.. And not having to use up all of your annual leave (been there, done that!).
Home visits are available mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Depending on your requirements, we would recommend two visits a day. The visits consist of; clearing up any mess, ensuring your pup is watered, fed & has gone about their business and administered any medication, if required. But most importantly ensuring they are given lots of love & snuggles!

Pet Taxi
Whether your pet has an appointment at the Groomers, Vets or needs chauffeuring to your preferred destination, we’re more than happy to assist. Collection and drop off takes place in The DogLo.
About Us
Just a girl & her dogs doing what they do best; Providing your fur babes with a 5* service they truly deserve and allowing them to live their best lives! Ensuring those tails are always wagging and those noses are always firmly on a scent, we’ve got you & your perfect pup covered.
We understand the importance of choosing a professional Dog Walker who not only is caring, committed, responsible and has a genuine passion for dogs and their wellbeing, but also has an understanding of your dogs & their behaviours and how to handle these behaviours in a positive, compassionate manner.
Keeping your doggo companions safe, happy & content is our number one priority, we pride ourselves on maintaining professional, genuine relationships with all of our clients/humans(!) and delivering the best service possible, tailored to you & your best friends needs.
All of our adventures take place at various safe, rural locations within the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside and are varied regularly. Our routes consist of open fields, woodland areas, rivers, reservoirs, or streams to take a dip on those warmer days (we live in Yorkshire, we know it’s rare!). Ensuring public footpaths & bridleways are adhered to at all times. We cover Thirsk, Ripon, Boroughbridge & surrounding villages.
Before we embark on our adventures together, we’d very much like to get to know both you & your dog/s. It’s important for you to gain an understanding of how we operate & for us to learn more about your dog/s temperament, health history and also if you have any specific requirements. All meet & greets should last for a minimum of an hour and are completely free of charge.
We’re passionate about the services we provide, that’s why we’re part of the ‘Professional Dog Walkers Code of Conduct’. https://www.harrogate.gov.uk/downloads/file/1492/professional-dog-walkers-code
The Doglo
Your dog/s health & safety is of absolute paramount to us. All dogs are transported in our van, aptly named ‘The DogLo’.
We’re carrying extra special cargo, that’s why The DogLo has custom made DEFRA approved cages, each with their own comfy beds, water bowls, towels & a little treat for your pup to look forward to upon their return from their adventure.
All cages have emergency escape hatches. The DogLo also has adequate ventilation & air conditioning.
Due to the nature of our adventures, more often than not your dog/s will need a good rinse off, using our trusty mobile shower, then given a good rub down with a towel before returning home for a well-earned snooze.
Whilst every effort is made to return your dog/s in a good, clean condition, we are unable to provide a ‘proper’ thorough wash due to both time & water constraints. We therefore recommend you give your dog/s a wash, if required.
Infection control is a huge priority for us; All cages are given a clean down at the end of each working day, followed by a thorough deep clean on weekends, using vet graded cleaning products – Ain’t nobody got time for those pesky bugs!
Give us a ‘toot’ if you see us!
Who We Are
-
Leader of the pack & the face behind Adventures with Lo & Co. Lola is a 4 year old Golden Show Cocker Spaniel and is a lover of long walks, puddles & cuddles. True to form, Lola has a huge passion for.. Food! Lola loves making new friends; both of the fur & human variety is extremely affectionate, requires a lot of exercise and is a lady who knows exactly what she wants and isn’t afraid to throw a little sass until she gets it (not entirely sure where she gets that trait from..)!
-
Lil’ sis, Queen of mayhem, Chief pusher of aaalll the boundaries & forever ensuring everyone is kept on their toes! Mabel is a Sable Show Cocker Spaniel & has recently turned one. Mabel requires a lot of stimulation & exercise. Mabel’s favourite past time is causing as much carnage as poss, chasing rabbits, birds, cats (basically anything that can move!) & showering us with endless amounts of love & licks!

Founder
General dogsbody (by every sense of the word, but I love it!) & Founder of Adventures with Lo & Co. My name is Chloè and quite simply, I love dogs; always have, always will. I’ve made it my life’s mission to work with dogs and now I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to say ‘I do’ and I feel incredibly privileged to do so. I have a huge passion for the great outdoors & a love for dogs’, it just makes perfect sense to combine both!
Dogs are such important members of our family, I can count on one hand how many individuals I trust to look after our girls. So, I understand first hand the importance of finding someone who you are able to trust implicitly to look after & care for those little loves of your life.
I am fully insured, DBS checked & am Level 3 Canine First Aid trained. All of my documentation will be produced on our meet & greet.
My ethos; To provide a service that I would expect to receive if it were my girls who required care, which is only the very best. Your dog/s are treated & loved as though they are our very own.

Head of IT, much to his dismay! Paris is my husband; we’ve been together for a mere 14+ years. Whilst Paris is dedicated to his full-time job as a Kitchen Designer, he still very much plays a key role within team AWL&C. Paris is also insured, DBS checked & Level 3 Canine First Aid trained. There may well be occasions where you will see Paris around.
